The restaurant was established in 1970 after it had been converted from a flour mill which had two water wheels.

Until 1960, it had been a working mill and the villages of Polop and Xirles both lived off this.

There was so much water, flowing 24 hours a day that it supported 4 fountains.

In the restaurant you will find several of the original moulds that were used, adding to the authentic atmosphere.
